Aurenavelle Anti-Tip Anchor Strap Set

A set of anti-tip anchor straps to fix a tall cabinet, vitrine or display unit to the wall so it can't be pulled or tip over — the safety fitting that belongs on every tall, top-heavy piece, especially where children are about. Steel-reinforced straps with wall and furniture fixings; screwed into a sound, load-bearing wall. Fit them when you place the cabinet.

• Type: furniture anti-tip anchor strap set
• Use: anchor tall cabinets and vitrines to the wall
• Why: stops a top-heavy cabinet tipping — fit on every tall piece

A care product or accessory for a sideboard or cabinet. Follow the instructions; an anti-tip strap or wall bracket must go into a sound, load-bearing wall — anchor tall cabinets so they cannot tip. Solid timber varies in grain and colour and moves a little with humidity; re-oil an oiled finish as the wood needs it.
